STAFF

Most of our teachers have been with Apple Blossom Learning Tree Day School for several years and all are trained in infant child CPR, first aid, fire safety and emergency planning. Additionally they each receive six to 13 hours of training in various areas of child development annually and fully understand what children need to be happy and feel safe at every stage of their development. Their educational backgrounds include:  Child Development Associates (CDAs), Associate Degrees, A Bachelor Degree Candidate in Speech and Language and Bachelor degrees in Early Childhood Education Degree and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Additionally the Director holds a M.Ed., has taught elementary and middle school in the Philadelphia Public School System as well as having more than 15 years working with children in the private sector.
